NTA Launches True Mobile VoIP Sim Card


Leading UK VoIP developer to offer Mobile VoIP SIM Cards – providing low cost mobile calls and feature rich functionality without need for software or WiFi


11th May 2010 – NTA, a privately owned UK VoIP provider, today announced the launch of its first True Mobile VoIP solution scheduled for May 28th 2010. Using an NTA SIM, customers will get all the flexibility and functionality of their VoIP Business System, on their mobile phone, and at a fraction of the cost of the current mobile providers.


NTA’s network is interconnected with one of the largest UMTS mobile network operators using voice over the Internet protocol (VoIP) technology. This means you are not required to install VoIP software or a SIP client on your mobile phone. Also you are not dependant on an unreliable WiFi connection.


Paul White, NTA MD commented ‘We will be able to take our customer’s existing mobile and make it an extension of our network.  This means their mobile phones can now access the same huge range of functionality as their office based VoIP system.’  He continued ‘NTA is the first VoIP provider who is offering pure-play VoIP for mobile customers as well as offering “MOVEX” (Mobile VoIP Extensions) without costly mobile forwarding charges and limitations to an area. You can choose from a range of mobile numbers, geographic numbers and office extension numbers to be assigned to a NTA Mobile SIM Card. Or have multiple numbers assigned to the NTA Mobile SIM Card as well.’


Feature Rich Mobile devices at low cost

Functions include call recording, hold, call transfer, voicemail, hunt group, IVR, call pickup, DND, Time & Date routes, music on hold, Call announcements, Fax to Email, Alerts, Conference Calls, Call Screening, Whisper announcement, Pattern Menu, Queues, Remote Access, Instant Number Allocation and many more.  Users of NTA’s Mobile VoIP will be able to make calls at exactly the same rate as their desk phone (with a small charge of 2.5ppm on top of the normal tariff).  This means they can ring a UK landline for 3.7ppm (peak time) or call the US for the same rate. Calls within the NTA network (NTA mobile VoIP to NTA VoIP extension and vice versa) cost only 2.5ppm.


When launched on May 28th 2010, the service will cost £7.99 a month plus £0.99 for hosting the number.

NTA LTD’s 1st Annual Southern Dealer Day

NTA: Ltd held it’s first annual Southern Dealer Day on Thursday 08th April 2010. The event was a huge success and is the start of our push for more White Label Resellers and Dealers. We also engaged BT Wholesale, Steve Sherry of BT IPX and Ian Shepherd of BT Wholesale Broadband, who we work very closely with. We then took a brief look at what the future holds for NTA: Ltd and a detailed review of our White Label and Dealer packages, presented by our Director Paul White.

We also introduced a sneak peak to our innovative new service – NTA’s True Mobile VoIP

We will be holding our first annual Northern Dealer Day within the next couple of months with the date to be confirmed. NTA launches highly cost effective Voice over IP phone system for the hospitality sector

Hosted VoIP phone system offers competitive advantage with feature-rich low cost phone system for hotels

 

NTA today announced the launch of its latest market focused VoIP phone system aimed at the hospitality sector: NTA’s Hospitality VoIP Suite. This highly flexible and tailorable solution will cut hotel costs, provide a superior feature-rich service to customers and all without the need to manage cumbersome phone switch systems on site.

NTA’s Hospitality VoIP Suite works with the number 1 enterprise application for hospitality; Micros Fidelio Front Office, Opera, Suit8 and Fidelio Suite. NTA provides customers with a Micros certified software interface for:

  • Billing – hotels can set their own charges and charge by units or minutes
  • Wake up calls – guests can either dial the wakeup call menu on the phone to enter their wake up time or front of house staff can set up the wake up call time for them
  • Built in room state system – controls the room status (so housekeeping can say whether the room has been cleaned, the guest has checked out etc.)
  • Built in minibar state – housekeeping can input what stock has been used via the phone
  • Voice mail – Guests can receive their voicemails via their preferred email address
  • Fax – a public number can be assigned to a room and any faxes sent to this number can be forwarded to a guests preferred email address

Why VoIP?

VoIP (Voice over Internet) allows the hospitality sector to consolidate telephone and data services onto a single network as well as providing productivity-enhancing voice features and services.  These days guests expect more from their communications systems in hotels.  With the rise of mobile phones, offering a standard phone line is no longer acceptable.  Guests expect high-speed data, free or reduced-cost local/national calling, wake up calls, tailored voice mail, caller-id, voice re routing, and more.


A VoIP system provides all this at a cost effective price without the headache of managing premise-based switching equipment, which also means when switching to a hosted VoIP phone system the hotel does not have to make a significant upfront capital investment.
